Apple has finally unveiled the long awaited Apple iPhone 5C and 5S.
So what’s the difference between the two?
Price: Not much is known about the pricing of the new Apple iPhones in India however according to Apples website we can expect the price difference to be at least 100$ between the two models (which is a lot considering the dollar rates these days) Winner: iPhone 5C at the price Colors: The Apple iPhone 5S comes in 3 Colors, a change from the Standard Black and white. You can expect your new iPhone to come in Silver, Grey and Gold! The 5C on the other hand comes in a variety of different colors including White, Pink, Yellow Blue and Green. Winner: iPhone 5C for variety Build Quality: The iPhone 5S has the finish we expect off an iPhone, it has neat lines and the overall quality is exceptional. the 4″ screen is a bit of a disappointment though considering its competitors are all sporting 5″ and above. The 5C on the other hand has a very plastic-ey feel to it. It comes in bright colors as opposed to the smooth finish of the 5S. There are of course more color options to choose from. Winner: the iPhone 5S for its superior quality. Camera & Display: The 5S comes with a few new camera features such as its burst shot mode and slow-mo video recording. The camera quality is slightly better than the 5C and it comes along with a True Tone flash rather than the basic LED flash found on the 5C The display on both pieces is identical. Winner: the iPhone 5S Processor: The iPhone 5S comes along with a new A7 chip with a 64bit architecture which ensures lightning fast processing and improved graphics quality. The iPhone 5C on the other hand has the old A6 chip which has proven itself in the past Winner: the iPhone 5S Features: The two phones have almost identical features. The one feature which really stands out among the others is…. you guessed it, the Fingerprint identity sensor. It allows the user to unlock their phone by simply placing their finger on the home button. It also allows the user to verify payments made at the iTunes store by ensuring that the person is present. But how useful is the sensor really going to be? is it practical to lock a phone down to only one person? What if a friend wants to play a game on your phone, or simply wishes to make a phonecall? Winner: The iPhone 5S. Conclusion: The iPhone 5S definitely seems to have the better features and looks better, but is this enough to entice customers to pay the extra amount in order to upgrade? please write your comments below and tell us what you think
