Following the success of the HTC Desire phones, HTC extended its Desire range to include a new mid-range Desire phone, the 4.3-inch HTC Desire 501. For ₹16,086, HTC Desire 501 provides good performance and gives all features an Android phone can provide.
The HTC Desire 501 dual-SIM as the name suggests is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone with dual active support. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. There is 2100mAh battery and includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA, Micro-USB and built-in NFC as connectivity options.
HTC Desire 501 is powered by a dual-core 1.15 GHz processor, backed by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage and also includes a microSD slot for memory expansion. It comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA (480×800) display similar to HTC Desire 500 with a pixel density of 217 ppi which is an average clarity display. The phone has a reasonable good display with its WVGA, super LCD 2 screen.
The HTC Desire 501 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense UI, but does not feature the BlinkFeed. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor. It also sports a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera and 88 degree wide angle lens for improved Video calling experience. The camera specs of Desire 501 better than that of HTC desire 500.
The HTC 501 is fairly good looking phone and has all the features that one looks for in a mid range phone. The screen features decent brightness and colour balance and offers users fairly reasonable viewing angles. Checkout HTC Desire 501 @ themobilestore.in for more detailed description.
