After Beats Audio, Nokia is planning to come out with a new range of high-quality and affordable headsets under the Coloud brand. Nokia has partnered with Zound Industries, who under the Coloud brand will launch the new headsets.
The new Coloud branded headsets are named Boom, Knock and Pop. All these headsets are expected to be priced at Rs 2125 (27 Euros), Rs 1730 (22 Euros), and Rs 1415 (18 Euros) respectively. It is rumoured that these new headsets will be available September onwards.
These headsets are colourful and have been customised for those who wish to have a more personalized accessory for their Windows Phone.
Boom – The Boom is the best headphone if you are vulnerable to an environment with lot of background sounds. This headset cuts the background sound due to its closed shell construction. As seen in the image, the headsets sport large ear pads and a padded frame; it can be well suited Nokia or Xbox Music. The large ear pads fit comfortably over your ears, and the padded rock-solid frame sits perfectly over your head – or around your neck when you take that break from your music. You can buy these at approximately Rs 2125.
Knock – The Knock is the lighter version of Boom with flattened wire design for tangle free usage and carries a Y style cord. It’s a more minimalistic approach to design. You can buy these at approximately Rs 1730.
Pop – If headphones are not your thing then you can think of buying the Pop. It is an in-ear alternative. These earphones will cater those who do not prefer wrapping an accessory over the head and ears. You can buy these at approximately Rs 1730.
Boom, Knock and Pop come in cyan, red and yellow variants. Also these headsets are tangle free and as they sport flat cables. That’s not all as you will be able to control music playback and answer calls with a microphone, a feature available in all the above headsets.
