The internal memory may be expanded to about 32GB using the micro SD card slot. The 8.1 MP camera incorporates image stabilizer, red-eye reduction, touch focus, and smart zoom, up to 2.46 x. Geo tagging, video record, video stabilizer and HD video recording are the other features included. Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo has messaging features like SMS, MMS, IM, email, and Google mail.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo also incorporates Twitter, Video chat, Google Talk and Facebook applications. The QWERTY keyboard makes texting a pleasure. The auto rotate feature allows users to switch from the vertical to horizontal mode by simple rotation.
